Fancy Acres offers flexible check-in and check-out times to make boarding convenient for you while allowing us to properly prepare for each guest.

When booking your stay, please provide your requested arrival and departure times on the boarding form.

We will confirm your requested times and make sure the appropriate space, care and staffing are available.

A Few Things to Know

  • Check-in and check-out times must be communicated in advance.

  • Your requested time is not considered confirmed until Fancy Acres has approved it.

  • Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change.

  • Flexible scheduling helps us maintain a peaceful environment and ensures each dog receives the attention they deserve.

  • Early drop-off or late pickup may be accommodated when availability allows.

🐾 Why We Schedule Ahead

Because Fancy Acres is a small boutique boarding facility, we don't operate like a large commercial kennel with dogs coming and going all day.

Knowing when your dog will arrive and leave allows us to:

Prepare their suite • Plan their care • Maintain a calm environment • Give each guest personalized attention

Your dog's stay is planned around their comfort—and yours.

📅 CANCELLATION POLICY

💰 $50 Booking Deposit

  • A $50 deposit is required when your reservation is made.

  • Your deposit is applied toward your total boarding balance.

  • The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time.

  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled arrival, your $50 deposit will be converted to a credit with Fancy Acres that can be used toward a future boarding stay or other Fancy Acres purchase.

  • Credits are not redeemable for cash.

We know things happen, and we want to be as flexible as possible while also protecting the limited boarding spaces available at Fancy Acres.

Giving us more than 24 hours' notice allows us the opportunity to offer the space to another guest.

🏥 EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE

Your Dog's Safety Comes First

We hope your dog's stay is completely uneventful—but we believe it's important to have a plan in place just in case.

If your dog becomes ill, injured, or experiences a medical emergency while staying at Fancy Acres, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your designated emergency contact.

If veterinary care is needed, Fancy Acres is authorized to seek veterinary attention from our designated veterinarian or an appropriate emergency veterinary facility when reasonably necessary to protect your dog's health and safety.

Veterinary Care Authorization

By signing the Fancy Acres Boarding Agreement, you authorize Fancy Acres to:

  • Seek veterinary evaluation when reasonably necessary.

  • Transport your dog for veterinary care if necessary.

  • Authorize emergency treatment when you cannot be reached.

  • Provide the veterinarian with your dog's medical and vaccination information.

  • Contact your veterinarian regarding your dog's care.

All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the dog's owner.

We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before non-emergency veterinary care whenever possible.
